TitleLetter from Bull to Pratt and Bickersteth: 23 July 1819: Sierra Leone
Extent1 doc.
Date1819
DescriptionHe gives an account of the illness and death of Cates, mentioning visits by John Baker, Methodist missionary.
He has presently abandoned the Institution which is in a very bad state of repair. If the Society is to continue with it, it should solicit government assistance. If he is put in charge he would not want to be under the direction of a superintendant in Freetown as this has always been a source of friction.
