DescriptionA privately published biography of Mary Elisabeth ('Minnie') Wolfe (1865-1955), Annie Muriel Wolfe (1870-1955) and Amy Kathleen Wolfe (1875-1962), CMS missionaries to Fukien, China by Dr Frances Ann Slater (b 1940).

Minnie, Annie and Amy were the daughters of Archdeacon John Richard Wolfe (1832-1915), CMS missionary and Mary Ann Margaret Maclehose (1843-1913). Born in Foochow, the sisters attended the Church Missionary Children's Home in England before rejoining their parents in China and taking up the missionary call. Author, Frances Slater, is descended from the nephew of Archdeacon Wolfe.
