| Description | Research copy of an unpublished, biographical account of James Henry Sedgwick (1849-1927) and his first wife, Ellen Dumergue Jennings (1850-1882) written by Kristine Herron.
This is an illustrated account which includes details of how the author traced the identity of the Sedgwicks' only son, Harold Sedgwick (b 1882), a one-time soldier, who, after being court-martialled on a charge of theft at the age of 19 years, moved to Australia and lived the rest of his life under the assumed name of Claude Harold Annesley. |
