Administrative HistoryVivyan Henry Donnithorne (1886-1968) served in the 11th Hampshire Regiment during First World War. He married Gladys Ingram (d 1977) in 1916 and they became CMS missionaries to Western China in 1919 until 1945. They then served as missionaries with the West China Evangelistic Band at Pehpei 1943-1951and then in Hong Kong from 1953.
Custodial HistoryDeposited with the CMS; transferred on permanent loan to the Special Collections Department by the CMS in the 1980s
