The collection also includes nearly 100 photographs of Tanganyika, of missionaries and converts

Administrative HistoryEmily Ruth Spriggs (b c 1872) of Gosport was accepted as a CMS missionary in 1897 and left for service with the East Africa Mission in the same year. She served in Tanganyika, at Mamboya, Kongwa, Berega and Dodoma.
