The thesis was submitted to the University of London under the title 'The Formal Education of African Women and Girls in Uganda: Some Factors and Social Changes Involved in its Acceptance', 1970-71. In addition to notes on and copies of sources consulted, and photographs assembled the collection includes an unrevised copy of the thesis dated September 1970.
