Administrative History | Emilie Stroelin (b c 1860) was born in Germany and was formerly a governess. In 1881 she went as a missionary to India under the Church of England Zenana where she was stationed in Meerut (Mirat). In 1904, she transferred to the service of the CMS and she continued to work in Meerut Girls Schools until 1916.
