| Administrative History | Miss Emma Ada Lawford trained as a nurse at Westminster hospital and went to Cairo in 1887 under the Church of England Womens' Missionary Association. In 1896 she was accepted for missionary work with the CMS and the following year was stationed in Old Cairo, transferring in 1900 to the Palestine Mission. |
