Administrative HistoryRev. Charles Burden (1881-1960) was accepted as a CMS missionary in 1906 and sailed for Kasaka, part of the Uganda mission, the same year. In 1912 he transferred to the mission station of Mukono and continued his work in Uganda until his final return to England in 1919. The following year he resigned from his missionary career. He died in 1960 at Tiverton, Devon.
In 1909 he married May Gertrude Couch whose sister, D.E.Couch, was also a CMS missionary in Uganda (List II no. 1031)
