Administrative History | William Frederick Connor began his missionary career as an agent of the Bedouin Mission in Palestine and was taken in local connection by CMS in 1883. He was later ordained and was placed in charge of the East Jordan district until 1888. In 1889 he was transferred to the Egypt Mission where his knowledge of Vernacular Arabic was needed. He was reappointed to the Palestine Mission in 1895 but retired from the CMS and returned to England the following year. He died in 1921.
