Physical Description
Some album pages are loose. Researchers wishing to view the photographs will be reminded of handling techniques appropriate to the material whenever the photographs are made available for consultation: in addition to the handling requirements applicable to all collections issued in the Reading Room, desk lamps must be turned off and adjacent blinds lowered, no attempt must be made to flatten photographs or touch the surface of any of the photographs. The album needs a deep book rest to support minimal opening of the tightly bound pages. Loose photographs must not be removed from melinex sleeves nor carried unless re-packaged in the archive folder in which they were issued.
