DescriptionThe Family Papers series consist of Katherine Cox's journals from the time of the India/Pakistan partition, newsletters and duplicated letters, letters to family and others, diary letters and journal written by her mother, Mrs M Cox to her three daughters, Katherine, Elizabeth and Winifred.

The Official Papers consist of her teachers' notes on the Bible Syllabuses taught, the manuscript for a Book on Bible History and other manuscript notes on Quiet Day addresses and Bible studies

The Miscellaneous Papers include printed booklets, pamphlets, magazines and newspaper cuttings as well as photographs and stereoscopic prints with lists of slides and negatives

Administrative HistoryKatherine Julia Cox (1906-1983) was a missionary with CEZMS in India and Pakistan 1933-1957. She then transferred to the CMS and continued her educational work in Narowal, Lahore and Gojra until her retirement in 1973. Her sister Elizabeth worked in Rwanda and Winifred worked in Matana and Bujumbura 1936-1940.
Custodial HistoryDeposited with the CMS in March 1984 and transferred to the Special Collections Department in 2005
