The letters were given to Blomefield by Daniel Wilson, Bishop of Calcutta [Kolkata]. They were docketed by Rev. Bateman in 1836 or 1837. According to a note on the cover of the packet by J[ohn] B[arton] "these letters were published in the 'Calcutta Christian Intelligencer' of 183-". |
