Administrative HistoryJames Valentine Dermott (1860-1892) was a CMS missionary to Uganda and one of a party of four who volunteered at five days notice for Eastern Equitorial Africa in response to urgent request for reinforcements, May 1890. He died at Nassa April 24 1892.
