Administrative HistoryEliza Louisa Pilgrim (1860-1947) trained as a nurse and spent two years in the Medical Mission Training Home Glasgow before being accepted as a missionary for Uganda. She was one of the first party of five women to be sent to Uganda in 1895 and her missionary career lasted for over thirty years in that country.
