Administrative HistoryDr Ruth Helen Western (1879-1978) qualified MB at the Royal Free Hospital 1907 and MD 1910.She served as a CEZMS medical missionary in India from 1912 to her retirement in 1939. She died in Eastbourne in 1978. Her friend and colleague Mrs Lettie Kate Junkinson (b. 1895) served as a missionary from 1920 to 1924 with the CMS and from 1924-1960 with the CEZMS, working with the Scripture Gift Mission from 1942 onwards.
