Administrative HistoryMark W Bishop was born in Exeter in 1920, graduated from Exeter College Oxford 1942 and then trained for the ministry at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford before being ordained in 1944. In 1945 he married Anne Graby and the couple were accepted by the CMS for missionary work in Uganda. They were assigned to Buwalasi Teacher Training College where Mark was the Chaplain and Theological tutor and Anne worked as a lecturer and later as Principal. After returning to England in 1956 Mark Bishop served as vicar in parishes in Yorkshire and Cambridgeshire before retiring in 1985.
