Administrative HistoryTheodore Leighton Pennell (d 1912) was accepted by CMS as an Honorary Medical Missionary and after qualifying F.R.C.S. in 1892 was sent to a post in the Punjab and Sindh mission, later taking up a post in the hospital at Bannu. In 1908 he married Alice Maud Sorabji (d 1957) M.B., B.S, Lond. In 1912 he died but his wife continued their work in Bannu until her resignation in 1925.
