Description The papers of Rev William Caley, CMS Home Secretary 1934-1940 consist of circular diary letters, letters, addresses of welcome, newspaper cuttings and other miscellaneous material relating to the Meeting of the International Missionary Council held in Madras 12 - 30 December 1938 at which Rev Caley was a CBMS delegate. Also included in the collection are other miscellaneous printed papers and a collection of photographs showing various locations in India. PART OF THIS COLLECTION HAS BEEN RETAINED BY THE CMS AND SO IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR CONSULTATION AT THE CADBURY RESEARCH LIBRARY. IT IS CURRENTLY HELD AT THE CROWTHER CENTRE FOR MISSION EDUCATION AT CMS IN OXFORD AND ENQUIRIES ABOUT ACCESS SHOULD BE MADE TO THE CMS ARCHIVIST, KEN OSBORNE (ken.osborne@cms-uk.org; Tel: 01865787553)
