Administrative HistoryPhilippa Guillebaud, daughter of CMS missionaries Harold and Margaret Guillebaud, served with the CMS in Yei, Southern Sudan. She began her work there in 1945, teaching at a girls' boarding school. In 1959 she gave up teaching to concentrate on her translation of the Bible into Bari, the local language, work that she continued after her move to Uganda in 1963. She returned to the Sudan in 1976.
