Administrative History | Kristen Eskildsen Borup born 1866 in Aarhus, Denmark was accepted as a CMS missionary in Uganda in 1897. He was engaged in Industrial Mission work in Mengo from 1899 and superintended the building of the Cathedral and hospital there as well as being responsible for the introduction of cotton as a commercial product in Uganda. In 1905 he resigned from the CMS to join the Uganda Company.
