Administrative HistoryMargaret Blanche Sheath (1902-1980) served as a CMS missionary in Nigeria 1929-1933. She worked alongside Dorothy Jewitt in evangelising and caring for the women of the region, making several 'evangelising treks' to reach outlying communities. In 1933 she married Rev John Waddington Hubbard in Nigeria but was required to return to England the following year for health reasons. Her husband joined her in England in 1935 and became Rector of St Mary's, Cusop, Hertfordshire. From there they moved to Norfolk where they lived until his retirement in 1964. Margaret died in April 1980 and is buried in South Walsham.
