Description10 May: Is sending a copy of CMS accounts from 1 May 1824 to 31 Apr 1825, compiled by Gisborne from the documents supplied to him; Corrie hopes Gisbourne will become treasurer and send home quarterly detailed accounts; the stations have never furnished regular accounts; regrets the diminished confidence in England in the handling of money by CMS and the British and Foreign Bible Society in India; Wilson goes home with this ship expecting to return; Corrie trusts the Parent Committee will not send him back; Corrie fears Reichardt must be separated from his unsatisfactory wife; the Committee at headquarters will judge from the documents Corrie is sending; single missionaries are to be preferred unless after due enquiry the Committee at headquarters considers the prospective partner a true helpmeet
