Fisher hopes to be appointed chaplain at Delhi; regrets opposition to Naval and Military Bible Society; SPCK cannot supply demand for bibles; asks for £10 worth of tracts published by the Bristol Church of England Tract Society; native population here is not particular about food as the people of the plains, but is even more superstitious
