On 6 February he records the deaths of Buster Keaton and Hedda Hopper; on 13 February the deaths of Irene Ravensdale [Mary Irene Curzon, 2nd Baroness Ravensdale], Sophie Tucker, Billy Rose; and on 16 October the death of Clifton Webb. On 22 May he comments on his appearance on the 'Eamonn Andrews' show alongside Dudley Moore, Lucille Ball and Cassius Clay.
