In January he visits New York and then Jamaica, during which time he worked on lyrics, plays and short stories as well as painting. He visits America again in May and comments on a meeting of the Actors' Orphanage in September. Coward continues to work on 'Future Indefinite' and, in May, records the death of Neysa MacMein.
