/1/ Transcript of a letter from James Bridie of 6 Woodlands Terrace, Glasgow, dated 5th Nov, 1935. Letter is addressed to ‘Dear Mr Coward. Thanks Noel for a pleasant evening. Invites him to lunch.

2/ Transcript of a letter from James Bridie of Galaknowe, Turnberry, Ayrshire, dated 22nd March, 1936. Letter is addressed to ‘Dear Coward’. Asks for Noel’s opinion on an unnamed R. Houston musical comedy. Praises Noel’s play, ‘The Astonished Heart’.

3/ Transcript of a letter from James Bridie of 6 Woodlands Terrace, Glasgow, dated 20th April, 1936. Letter is addressed to ‘Dear Noel Coward’. A short note to say Thank you. He has been busy.

4/ Transcript of a letter from James Bridie of Garrick Club, March 31st. Letter is addressed to ‘Dear Coward’. He is upset to hear that Noel will now not be performing at the Malvern Festival.

5/ Transcript of a letter from James Bridie of Camstradden Drive East, Bearsden, Dumbartonshire, dated 17th December, 1942. Letter is addressed to ‘Dear Noel Coward’. He saw two of Noel’s plays when he was in London.
