1/ Transcript of a letter from Lorn Loraine, dated June 12th, 1946. Letter is addressed to ‘Dear Else’. Informs her that Noel is planning an Operette in the autumn and she will happily write with more details when she has them.

2/ Transcript of a letter from Lorn Loraine, dated June 22nd, 1949. Letter is addressed to ‘Dear Teddy’. Informs him that Elsie April is too ill to look after Noel’s music library and requests for it to be housed and dealt with by Chappells.

3/ Transcript of a letter from Elise April of The Limes, Leavesden, Nr. Watford, Herts, dated June 29th. Letter is addressed to ‘Dearest Lorn’. Update on fees and sales of Noel’s music.

4/ Transcript of a letter from Lorn Loraine, undated. Letter is addressed to ‘Dearest Else’. Inform Elsie that she has made arrangements with Chappells about housing Noel music library with them.

5/ Transcript of a letter from Elsie April of The Limes, Leavesden, Nr. Watford, Herts, dated July 21st. Letter is addressed to ‘Dearest Lorn’. Agrees with Lorn that housing Noel’s music library with Chappells is a good idea.

6/ Transcript of a letter from Elsie April of The Limes, Leavesden, Nr. Watford, Herts, dated September 30th. Letter is addressed to ‘Dearest Lorn’. Sends a completed form with the letter.

7/ Transcript of a letter from Elsie April of The Limes, Leavesden, Nr. Watford, Herts, dated August 11th, 1949. Letter is addressed to ‘Dearest Lorn’. She is leaving to stay with Marjorie and wants to know if Lorn is happy for her to send Noel’s music to Chappells.

8/ Transcript of a letter from Elsie April of The Limes, Leavesden, Nr. Watford, Herts, dated August 30th, 1949. Letter is addressed to ‘Dearest Lorn’. Sends the receipt for the parcel of scores she posted out.

9/ Transcript of a letter from Elsie April of 30 Green Lane, Hendon, dated June 17th. Letter is addressed to ‘Dear Noel’. Requests an increase in the payment Noel has made to her for her music. She also informs him that she is happy their association is coming to an end.

10/ Transcript of a letter from Noel Coward, undated. Letter is addressed to ‘Dear Elsie’. He is disappointed that she feels she has not been treated well by him and sends a cheque for fifty pounds.

11/ Transcript of a letter from Elsie April of 30 Green Lane, Hendon, dated November 24th, 1937. Letter is addressed to ‘Dear Noel’. Requests for money to help her get through Christmas and informs him that she has completed another piece of music for him.

12/ Transcript of a letter from Elsie April of 30 Green Lane, Hendon, dated June 22nd, 1936. Expresses gratitude for the money he has sent.

13/ Transcript of a letter from Elsie April of 24 Museum Chambers, Bury Street, London, dated Sunday. Letter is addressed to ‘Dearest Noel’. Expresses happiness at having received his letter and the enclosed cheque.
