In his letters to Rendel Harris, John Clifford tells him that he has been reading 'The Last of the Mayflower', that he has not been able to track down Rev CW Cliffe who is on the committee of the National Passive Resistance League and asks Rendel Harris to preside at the Annual General Meeting of the Passive Resistance Committee in 1921. |
