Arrangement | In many cases photographs lack clear identification. While original groupings of photographs have been preserved wherever possible, some sorting has been undertaken by the archivist to place the photographs in a useful context, e.g. by subject, person or place where this has been indicated. Broadly, photographs associated with a particular geographical area of Mission work have been placed first in the sequence, in alphabetical order of place name. These are followed by photographs of people working for the Korean Mission, or with closely associated organisations such as the Community of St. Peters and Society of the Holy Cross. General scenes of Korean life and culture follow. Oversize photographs have been placed together at the end of the sequence for ease of storage, and include images of people and places. |
