Following Bishop Cooper's resignation in 1955 he remained in charge of the Diocese until the appointment of Bishop John Daly in that year, and continued to serve as his Assistant Bishop. Following a furlough in 1958, he returned to Korea and was based at In'chon [Inchun] until his retirement in 1964. |
