| Description | Correspondence and copy correspondence of Lesslie Newbigin in his capacity as General Sec of the International Missionary Council (IMC), 1959, conference circulars, agenda for meeting of IMC and draft papers of Newbigin relating to the proposed integration of IMC and the World Council of Churches (WCC). Correspondence and papers relate most specifically to meetings of the Administrative Committee of the IMC, a paper by Newbigin entitled 'The Organisation of the Church. Mission to the World', meetings of the WCC Central Committee held in Nyborgstrand, proposals for an Inter-Church Aid and Mission division, the IMC staff consultation conference held at Oxford, Sep 1958, and the publication of Lesslie Newbigin's 'One Body, One Gospel, One World' which formed the basis for consultation meetings. In addition, there are notes written by Newbigin in the 1980s relating to the above.
