TitleManaging Director (-1986)
DescriptionCorrespondence and project files created by David Conville in his role as founder and Managing Director of the New Shakespeare Company (1962-1986). Papers represent the wide variety of managerial functions handled directly by him in the early years of the Company's history, including policy-making, securing the lease of the Open Air Theatre, obtaining licences for the performance of plays (-1968), obtaining funding and sponsorship, and developing the Open Air Theatre, including the building of a New Auditorium in 1975.
