Administrative History | A Production Manager is employed by the New Shakespeare Company on a seasonal basis. The Production Manager is responsible for costing the set within the allocated budget; working with the Set Designer to ensure that their design is effectively realised; producing a technical schedule and making sure it is adhered to; staffing the 'fit-up' of the set in the auditorium or theatre. The Production Manager liases closely with the technical staff (and their deputies), including the Head of Sound, Head of Lighting and Master Carpenter; Stage Management in relation to props; and casual staff including the set painter and set crew. |
