| Description | Abbreviated copy of a rough index to the words, phrases, proverbs, personages, animals, birds, gems etc. mentioned in John Lyly's 'Euphues', compiled by Charles Crawford. |
| Custodial History | This abbreviated copy was made by Charles Crawford from his own copy, and given to a Mr. Craig. Upon the death of Mr Craig the text was returned to Charles Crawford and, in 1907, given to a Mr Sidney Lee (see attached correspondence in the front of the text). The original copy was drawn up by Crawford during his study of Lyly, and collated with the assistance of a Mr Bond and other colleagues. |
