| Description | Papers relating to the production of 'Hamlet' directed by Janet Suzman. It premiered at the Grahamstown National Arts Festival in June 2005 and then moved to the Baxter Theatre Centre, University of Cape Town in July 2005. The production transferred to the Swan Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon in 2006 where Vaneshran Arumugam replaced Rajesh Gopie as Hamlet. Shortly before the Stratford performances the actor playing Guildenstern, Brett Goldin, was murdered in South Africa. |
