Manuscript notes relating to 'William Shakespeare. A Study of Facts and Problems', concerning the 'Queen's Players' and performances in the provinces between 1588-1594. As Chambers note (above) suggests, these details have been omitted from Appendix D, Vol. II of 'William Shakespeare', which lists provincial performances by other companies between these dates. A detailed account of the Queen's Players is given in Vol. 1, from p.33. The notes record the place and date of recorded performances by the Queen's Players, with the name by which they were then known Also record performances of the Earl of Sussex's Players, 1588-1591. |
