Letter from J. Wilson (on behalf of Joseph Chamberlain) to William Toynbee
Letter written from 40 Prince's Gardens [London], dated 21 October. Wilson [Private secretary to Joseph Chamberlain] writes that Chamberlain has received Toynbee's sonnet and read it 'with much gratification'.
[In the old former paper handlist the author is identified as J. Wilson, but there is also a typed note stored alongside the letter which suggests that the author is Sir Robert Bromley Wilson (1874-1906)].
