Date1897
DescriptionLetter written from 40 Prince's Gardens [London], dated 29 March and marked 'Private'. Chamberlain writes that the report in Massingham's paper, the Daily Chronicle, claiming that 'three high Imperial authorities were privy to the Jameson raid' is false and must be corrected.
