Description
Letter dated 30 May. Russell [1834-1920, first Baron Russell of Liverpool, newspaper editor and proprietor] advises Chamberlain not to break up the government. He sends Chamberlain newscuttings and discusses Sinclair ('the new member for Antrim') in connection with Irish policies. He writes about the actions of the Ulster members and asks for Chamberlain's opinion. Russell asks about Lord Hartington's role in discussions. He expresses his support for Chamberlain and Sir Charles Dilke.
