Letter from Joseph Chamberlain to Mr Maude regretting that he cannot accept an invitation and saying that 'If we do not reconcile the Party at the Round Table our differences will break up the Eighty Club and many others'. Addressed from 40 Prince’s Gardens, [London], dated 10 February 1887.
