Administrative HistoryLady Anastatia Stafford (1722-1807), a nun, was the daughter of William Stafford-Howard, 2nd Earl of Stafford. On her death, Sir William Jerningham (1736-1825), Charlotte's father, became heir general of Sir William Howard, Ist Baron and Viscount Stafford and, but for the attainder, 7th Baron Stafford.
