1 volume
Date
1833
Description
Diary maintained by Charlotte between 28 August and 19 September; the entry for 19 September is completed in the next diary (see JER/1774). On the inside cover she notes that it is her second visit to Windsor Castle and a further biographical note about Charlotte has been added in 1947. Also pinned to the cover is a note with the remnants of a sprig of cedar which was given to her by Donna Eleanora da Camara to commemorate a visit to Laleham.
She kept this diary during her attendance on Queen Adelaide as part of the household at Windsor Castle and the detailed daily entries describe the movements and activities of King William IV and Queen Adelaide and the royal visitors and include her personal comments, reports of conversations and additional information about members of the Court
