DescriptionLetter written by Joseph Priestley (1733-1804) to Reverend Mr. John Seddon (1719-1769), dissenting minister and religious controversialist. Priestley discusses a report he has written and requests Reverend Seddon to get it signed by Mr. Calamy of whom he thinks very highly. He goes onto mention a Mr. Palmer who he states '...I am upon uncommon good terms with..and will take care to improve it so as to avoid giving him any cause to suspect my views...I continue determined to wait till I hear from you before I come to a declaration with him..' Written from Warrington, dated 10 April 1762.
