DescriptionWritten from Half Moon Street, dated 29 February. Cooke advises Kelly not to look any further into the authorship of Junius. He agrees with the theory that Mr B is the author but writes that it cannot be proved and he does not want to upset the family of Beaconsfield. He writes about the variety of theories concerning the author of Junius and comments: 'In short every person seemed to have the first clever man he knew in his eye, and him he Dubbed with the Club of Hercules'. He hopes to dine with Kelly soon to discuss politics and literature.
