With reply from Sir Philip Francis on the same sheet, in which Francis writes that he will prepare a separate minute to include everything Clavering has mentioned. He states that Nuncomar and Rajah Gourdass should not be discouraged. He writes that sending Stewart's private secretary to Fyazabad is impudent and dangerous. He mentions the arrival of Mr Hunter. |
