He writes that they are expecting a visit from the Duchess of Gordon and her husband Colonel Morris who arrived in New York last week. With letter to Philip Francis dated 25 September on reverse, sending information about troops rumoured to be arriving in America, and arranging to buy a lottery ticket. |
