They include a variety of items from England and Wales, from a counterpart mortgage by the architect Robert Adam of his house in Grosvenor Stret, London to a licence to mine tin and copper on an estate in Cornwall; all are in English. |
Notes | This sequence was previously numbered KHW/B, duplicating the reference numbers of the series of manuscripts arranged by century These documents were kept by Humphreys in blue binding folders which were made up for him for storing his older documents. Benedikz marked the folders A (the new section G), B (this new section J), C, D and E, and assigned running numbers to the documents of each receptacle. These running numbers have been retained. |
