/709: Note given to Mrs Townley referring to Sharp being taken to glory, Basil Bruce being 'an halting Jacob', believers or unbelievers not being required to bow to [thee] but they should bow to the commands given by the writer though [thee], 25 July 1824
/710: Note that the writer has ordered Bencroft just to answer questions put to him by unbelievers when they come for books ... Mrs Townley has died after violent convulsions, 'look at Osmond and Orlondo', 21 March 1825
