DescriptionLetter written from E. I. College [Hertfordshire] dated 2 November. Dickinson assures his mother that she has been in his thoughts and he hopes that she is settling in to her new home. He notes that he did not go to see the Queen when she visited Hatfield House. He writes that he has stopped his Hindustani lessons with Mr Eastwick in order to concentrate on Persian which will feature in the examination in three weeks' time. He writes that the students are seeking permission to have a ball at the end of term.
